LADIES IN LEATHER GLOVES

The Wedding (Sequel to “The Prom”)
By Rachel and Jane

PART 2: The Wedding Day

Rachel was shaking. All her life having watched movies and heard stories about people being nervous the day of their wedding brought out her ego. She wouldn’t be so nervous on her wedding day, she’d know she was making the right decision. It was her wedding day, and she was just as nervous as anyone. This being a lesbian wedding certainly didn’t ease her nerves.

She stood in her dressing room at the chapel in front the mirror. Her brown hair had already been done in an updo. She wore a white necklace. Rachel’s mother helped tighten her beautiful wedding dress from the back. Rachel was already wearing her opera-length white leather gloves. Both of them had the three-button opening in the wrist. She stared at her reflection in the mirror with disdain.

“All done,” Rachel’s mother said and stood next to her in the mirror. “You look beautiful sweetheart.”

Rachel sighed, “I hope I’m making the right decision.”

“Rachel listen to me,” Her mother spun her around face to face, “I said no matter who you chose to marry, even regardless of gender, your father and I will support you. If you really love this girl, go for it.”

“Thanks Mom,” Rachel said apprehensively. She gave her a hug still with a shakey hand. Rachel moved to the door where her two bridesmaids were standing. Both of them were dressed in purple with elbow-length satin gloves. They both grabbed a bouquet of flowers before following their bride out the door.

And so the ceremony had begun. The chapel organ was playing as the three bridesmaids walked down the isle. Then, Jane’s Maid of Honor, Samantha made her way down. Samantha was better dressed than the other maids, with opera-length purple satin gloves. Samantha took her place at the aisle-end of Jane’s side with a maid and a groomsman next to her. On Rachel’s side stood her Best Man, Jimmy, with two maids to his right.

Rachel was with her father as the church organ played “Here Comes the Bride.” Rachel and her father marched down the aisle, the bride still shaking slightly. It must have been the longest walk of her life until her father finally gave her away.

“Looking good Rachel,” Jimmy said to her and nodded. Rachel’s nerves were shot as she stood at the altar. Suddenly, a white angel figure walked down the aisle. It was Jane, her fiancée. Jane looked beautiful. She held a bouquet of flowers in her right hand as her father gave her away. Upon seeing her wife, Rachel’s nerves settled and she held the hand of the woman she loved. The minister began the ceremony.

The ceremony went on with both of the girls reading their wedding vows. Then the ring ceremony came. Jimmy handed Rachel her ring for Jane. Rachel easily slipped the ring over Jane’s glove covered finger. Jane gave her a subtle wink. Samantha presented Rachel’s ring to Jane, who preceded to put the ring over her wife’s leather gloved finger. They knew neither of these gloves could now come off.

“You may now seal your marriage with a kiss,” The Minister revealed. Jane reached up slightly to touch the lips of her beautiful bride. Jane and Rachel kissed with a firey passion they had never before had. The audience applauded but began to die down as the couple’s kiss nearly became somewhat erotic.

“Uh,” Samantha poked at Jane, “Guys?”

Both of them broke the kiss in slight embarrassment as the audience chuckled. But the minister brought back the mood by introducing them as a married couple. The audience applauded, the organist played them off the alter and Rachel pulled Jane aggressively out of the hall. Jane paused for a minute and through the bouquet to the alter. Samantha dropped her bouquet to catch Jane’s.

Out the door, Jane and Rachel jumped into the limo waiting for them.

“Drive, drive!” Jane told the driver. He sped off. The two of them spent their time making out almost non-stop. Jane rubbed the soft leather gloves across Rachel’s face, down her neck, reaching slightly into her cleavage.

“Wow,” Rachel sighed, “Those gloves feel so nice on my skin. I’ve never felt gloves as soft as those.”

“I love them so much Rachel,” Jane said, “Let’s not take our gloves off.”

“I wasn’t planning on taking them off. They’re gonna stay on for the whole reception, our whole wedding night, our honeymoon, and…” Rachel hesitated, “You know what, let’s just never take them off.”

“Sounds good to me,” Jane chuckled slightly. “Oh my God I want to fuck you so badly right now Rachel!”

Rachel kissed her again and leaned back, “Not yet.” She smiled: “Tonight…”

“I dunno if I can wait that long.”

“Try.”
